Troubleshooting for Homeowners
You shouldn't have to reboot the router every Sunday. Most homes are wired and configured for whatever the cable installer felt like doing that day. I come in, figure out what's actually wrong, and leave you with a network that just works.
What I usually find
- The eero or Google mesh that drops every night around dinner
- Sonos that won't see the new TV
- Cameras and doorbells that go offline after every storm
- Wi-Fi that dies the moment you walk into the master bedroom
- A pile of apps that all do half of what you actually want
- That one room nobody can stream in
What I do about it
- Replace consumer mesh with UniFi where it actually matters
- Wired backhaul to the office, master bedroom, and outdoor areas
- Diagnose and fix smart-home conflicts at the source
- Document the network so the next person isn't guessing
- Set up remote monitoring so I see problems before you do
Wi-Fi works in every room. The cameras stay online. You stop thinking about it. That's the goal.
